Birth Doula Services

Prenatal Through Postpartum Support

Support starts as soon as you book.

We’ll begin with a virtual consult to connect and make sure this feels like the right fit. From there, I’m available to you throughout your pregnancy for questions, support, and guidance as things come up.

We’ll meet for a longer prenatal session where we:

  • Talk through your birth preferences and options

  • Prepare for different scenarios so you feel informed—not overwhelmed

  • Go over comfort measures, movement, and ways to support your body in labor

  • Make sure your partner feels confident and involved

You’ll also have ongoing access to me via text, call, or email, plus thoughtfully curated resources to support you along the way.

If you’re interested, I can also incorporate licensed, evidence-based acupuncture support during pregnancy to help with things like pain management, stress reduction, sleep, and birth preparation.

Prenatal Support

I stay with you for the first hour after birth to support bonding, feeding, and making sure you feel settled before I leave.

We’ll also have a postpartum follow-up where we:

  • Check in on your recovery—physically and emotionally

  • Talk through feeding and newborn care

  • Process your birth experience if you want to

  • Make sure you feel supported as you transition into this new phase

You’ll also have access to my referral network if additional support is needed (lactation, pelvic floor therapy, and continued support with acupuncture, etc.)

Postpartum

A pregnant being held by another person. The scene appears to be in a clinical or personal setting with part of a chair visible.
Three ducklings swimming in dark water with ripples and small floating debris.

When labor begins, I’m on-call and available to support you right away.

I’ll guide you through early labor virtually, then join you in person when you need hands-on support. From that point on, I stay with you continuously through labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period.

My role is to:

  • Help you stay grounded and connected to your body

  • Offer hands-on support, positioning, comfort measures, and movement guidance

  • Support your partner so they feel calm and confident

  • Help you understand your options and communicate with your care team

  • Create a steady, reassuring presence in what can feel like an intense and unpredictable experience

There’s no one “right” way to give birth—I support epidurals, unmedicated births, inductions, and cesareans. The focus is always on your experience and what feels right for you.
